  4. Great to hear from you! Glad you are having a good time. Sounds like house building is going well and weather has been good. Grandpa and Grandma asked about you and say hi. The celebrated 57 years of marriage yesterday! Remember to take pictures and build great memories!

  5. Hi Joseph. It sounds like from Dan’s recent instagram post that yesterday was stucco day? Hope you enjoyed bathing in the lovely pink/salmon stucco! Who is the family that you built for? My guess is that today you have the amazing opportunity to dedicate their home to them! What an incredible experience to hear the gospel presented and even though you may not understand every word in Spanish, you will certainly understand the heart of the message. We love you Joseph and we pray that God continues to use you this week to show the tangible love and grace and power of prayer. Can’t wait to see your pics and hear about this week!

  9. Wow, trying to get to the Medical Center yesterday was crazy. First, devotions and packing ran late but we still got out onto the road. Second, about an hour into the trip the van I rode in started to heat up too fast and it started smoking from the hood so we had to get out and wait until the van cooled off again. 30 minutes went by and there was a gas station about a mile down the road we got to so the mechanic could fix it along with another van we could ride in. another 30 minutes and we got the new van and how to load all the supplies in the new van, but when someone went to shut the door in the new van for us, they didn’t realize that it was locked so the keys got locked inside and we had no spare key. Another 30 minutes went by and we got the driver’s side door open enough we could slip something in to hit the unlock button and it worked, so now we were off on our way. But the third problem was get to the village, the road we were going to take was closed due to a mudslide so we went a different but longer way. We finally got there and had got set up and we were treating people who needed it and playing with the kids. But when the tried to go back there was a venomous snake by one of the vans so some off the villagers rallied up to kill it with stones. They killed the snake and now everything was alright and we got back to the mission base safely. What a DAY.

  10. Thanks for the update. Sounds like an adventurous day. Even when we plan to go with God and do good things even Satan can use simple things to throw us off track. So glad you were able to get your work done at the medical clinic and arrive back home safely. Have a great last two days! Miss you.
